The Cod Genomics and Broodstock Development Project (CGP) is an ambitious multidisciplinary research collective whose goal is to establish and implement a cutting edge genetic based research program for selectively breeding an “Elite” Broodstock to be used as a basis for the Canadian cod aquaculture industry. The Project Team is comprised of two project leaders, 10 co-applicants and 13 collaborators, spread amongst 11 academic, industrial and government institutions. Given the scope of the proposal, our plan is to employ a management structure that effectively lends itself to milestone and budget management.
